OmniPrep ("we", "us", or "our") is a CBT training platform for Nigerian UTME/JAMB candidates, operated by Usman Ibrahim, powered by Afraah Multi Ventures Services Ltd, based in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
By registering for or using OmniPrep, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
💡 Short version: We collect only what we need to run your account and improve the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. You can request deletion at any time.
We collect the following information when you register and use OmniPrep:
Information you provide directly:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your password (stored securely — we never see it in plain text)
- Your UTME exam year and approximate exam date
- Your chosen JAMB subjects
Information generated by your use of the platform:
- Your exam session results — scores, correct answers, wrong answers, time used
- Your subject accuracy percentages
- Your score history across multiple sessions
- Questions you answered incorrectly (for the Correction Vault)
Information we do NOT collect:
- Your bank card details — all payments are handled by our payment processors
- Your phone number (unless you voluntarily contact us via WhatsApp)
- Your location or GPS data
- Any information from your device beyond what your browser sends normally
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
- To create and manage your OmniPrep account
- To verify your payment and activate your subscription
- To display your exam results, score history, and subject performance
- To personalise the dashboard with your name, subjects, and exam countdown
- To respond to your support requests or questions
- To improve the platform based on how students use it
- To notify you about your account status or subscription expiry
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running OmniPrep for you.
Your account information and exam results are stored securely on Google Firebase, a cloud platform operated by Google LLC. Firebase servers are located in Europe (europe-west1 region). Firebase complies with GDPR and international data protection standards.
Your password is never stored in plain text. Firebase Authentication handles password security using industry-standard hashing. We cannot read your password — only you know it.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, all your data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
⚠️ We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.
We share your information only with the following third-party services that are necessary to run OmniPrep:
- Google Firebase — stores your account and exam data. Privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- EmailJS — sends email notifications when you register. Privacy policy: emailjs.com/legal/privacy-policy
- GitHub Pages — hosts the OmniPrep website files. No personal data is stored by GitHub Pages.
Each of these services has their own privacy policies and security standards. We carefully selected services that take data protection seriously.
OmniPrep currently accepts payments by direct bank transfer. When you make a payment, you transfer money directly to our bank account. We do not collect or store your bank card details, account number, or any other financial information.
When you send payment proof by WhatsApp or email, we use that proof solely to verify your payment and activate your account. We do not store payment screenshots beyond this verification purpose.
Your subscription access is valid for one year from the date your account is activated. We will notify you before your subscription expires so you can renew.
OmniPrep uses browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to keep you logged in between visits. This stores a secure authentication token on your device — not your password or personal details.
This local storage is used only to maintain your login session. You can clear it at any time by logging out or clearing your browser data. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies of any kind.
OmniPrep is designed for JAMB candidates, many of whom are between 16 and 18 years old. We take extra care with the data of young users.
We collect only what is strictly necessary — name, email, subjects, and exam results. We do not collect sensitive personal data, location, photos, or any information that could identify a student beyond their account details.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has registered without your consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account within 48 hours.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time.
- Right to correction — if any of your information is incorrect, you can ask us to correct it.
- Right to deletion — you can request that we delete your account and all associated data. We will do this within 30 days.
- Right to data portability — you can request your exam results and account data in a readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent — you can stop using OmniPrep at any time. Your data will be retained until you request deletion.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:
- All data transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Passwords stored using Firebase's industry-standard hashing
- Firestore security rules that restrict each student to their own data only
- No plain-text storage of passwords or payment details
However, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately and change your password.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform grows. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of OmniPrep after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
